Try www.rightmove.co.uk and you can see houses advertised from lots of different estate agents - you are bound to find one! Good luck - you've not got much time...3 weeks to find a 3 bed house in North London - recommend a good estate agent that actually calls you back?
Good luck.
Took me 2 weeks to find a simple room and i felt as exhausted as if I had moved the entire world afterwards. If you dont mind checking online sites then go to : http://www.gumtree.com or http://craigslist.org or http://easyroommates.com (easyroommates you probably have to pay to have access to all the profiles).
Good luck again!3 weeks to find a 3 bed house in North London - recommend a good estate agent that actually calls you back?
The extreme approach is to use
http://www.email4property.co.uk/high-bar鈥?/a>
which allows you so send an email to dozens of agents at the same time. The more precise you are in the email the better the results/calls will be.
Gumtree and craigslist is a horrible idea. Not enough houses in their database, often for-sale-by-owner and hard to refine the search.
Instead of Rightmove I suggest Nestoria. The map based search will help and on higher zoom level they show tube lines, schools, shops on the map

Yes, I second the decision to go with Nestoria

it's simple and clean.
I wouldn't like to recommend an estate agent but there are definately a few to avoid. Re-maxx is totally totally underhand and useless.
Try Kineligh Folkard Hayward - they did a good job for us.
Good luck!
