Does anyone know the estimated cost of fitting all new windows to a 3 bed house?

All new windows, double-glazed, about 9 windows in total and 1 door, 2 of which are Bay windows? If anyone knows the average cost please let me know. I am not talking about double-glazing the exisiting windows but replacing all windows as very old and split frames etc etc. I have heard massivley varying costs and would rather use a local tradesman but still need to know whats a good price? An average price for three bed double bay semi would be 拢6,500.00-拢7,500.00 but this would vary depending on window sizes. Get three quotes first one from somebody like Everest, or one of the big double glazing firms, unfortunately you will have to go through their sales patter but in the end they will reduce the price to as cheap as possible after giving you several high prices to begin with. Shake the sales reps hand, as you escort him to the door without an order, please do not strangle him ,as this could land you in trouble. Next phone two local companies who won't try to Strong arm you into buying, after telling them what the large company quoted you, they will come up with a realistic figure, probably 2-300 pounds more expensive than the big company. The decision is then down to you. You could end up with a really good price.
my son had his replaced 3 years ago in a double bay 3 bed-roomed house for just over 拢4.000 I had 2 bay windows with the same people replaced year before last 拢2.100 we both shopped around and came up with the same people S.E.H they are excellent don`t push you into buying

haha no one can possibly give you a price without KNOWING the size of the windows...however that being said I can pick a standard window double pane double hung,36x54 at aprox $450 a window installed times 9 = $4000 aprox plus the cost of the door.However saying 2 are bay windows almost doubles ...or triples it...adding another $2000 aprox...total of aprox $6000-$7000
