would i be better off taking them out and buying convector heaters until my housing association upgrade them to make the house energy efficient in 2015. i need to cut costs as in winter these storage heaters cost me about 拢50 p/w. anyone help please?I have very old storage heaters in my 3 bed house they are inefficient and pricey.?
Have you tried talking to WarmFront or Eaga? They will get it done sooner, with a Government grant. Go to directgov.org.uk, they should be able to help you out.
