does anyone know how much a unit of gas costs? like when the meter goes round 1 plce how much is that? more a lessUk. how much is the average electricity bill and gas bill for a two bed house? its just 2 people living in it.
well, i have no idea what the average is but i can give you MY average, this is in Connecticut so may be high for other parts of the country.
(we're two people, two bedroom apartment)
Gas is for heat and hot water. In the winter it can go up to $350.00!! and in the summer (when it's just water) it'll run $150.00
Electricity has skyrocketed in the last couple years, it used to be a very nominal bill but now it's $80.00 in the ';non a/c'; months and $200 + in the summer when both air conditioners are blasting.Uk. how much is the average electricity bill and gas bill for a two bed house? its just 2 people living in it.
Your bill will have the unit price of gas on it. There are building simulators that can estimate electric and gas bills, based on prices, house construction, wall area, climate, etc.
