Roughly how much does a electric safety certificate for a 3 bed house in the UK cost, thanks?

Only recommended inspection is a PIR. usually a half to a full day's work.25-45 quid/circuit. NICEIC promote a 'safety (landlords) certificate' which is only useful for wiping yer bum with.

I'd choose a NAPIT member with the guarantee that the person carrying out the inspection does actually hold the City%26amp;Guilds Inspection and Test Exam, which cannot be said for everyone doing an NICEIC inspection. (only one person in an NIC company needs to hold the Qual), and it isn't even he who has to carry it out, he/she can sign off someone else's work.

Cheaper ones (100-150 quid all in) usually make up their charges in 'extras'/ remedial work.Roughly how much does a electric safety certificate for a 3 bed house in the UK cost, thanks?
For an electrician to come an inspect your installation you will be looking around 拢150 - 拢200.

Obviously if he picks up overloaded circuits, old wiring, circuit incontinuity, cracked sockets, light pendants, missing bonding etc ... then these would need rectifying to pass and would obviously add to the cost.

Ring around some NICEIC qualified electricians for some quotes .
