The 4 bedroom house is the wiser investment. Everyone has to sleep, not everyone likes gardens ;-)What had better resale potential, a three bed or 4 bed house?
the 4th bedroom is more valuable just beacause it will appeal to a broader audience when you are looking at selling, if all other things are equal, and the garden is not a huge sacrafice it might be the better bet.
